Baidoa – Somalia – The leader of the newly established Northeast State of Somalia, Abdikhadir Ahmed Aw-Ali (Firdhiye), has called on residents from the Southwest region who were forcibly displaced by the Somaliland administration during the 2023 conflict to return to their homes without delay.
Firdhiye made the remarks in Baidoa while attending the inauguration ceremony of Southwest State President Aden Mohamud Nur, where he urged the displaced communities to resettle in the affected areas.
