The Kuwait Football Association (KFA) has extended an official invitation to Somali referee Omar Artan to officiate the upcoming Zain Premier League final between Kuwait SC and Qadsia SC, scheduled for June 29, 2026.
In a statement released on Saturday, the KFA confirmed the appointment and noted that the Somali Football Federation has accepted the invitation, welcoming the initiative and expressing its appreciation for the collaboration between the two football associations.
The high-profile final will determine the champion of the 2025/2026 Zain Premier League season, with Kuwait SC set to be officially crowned winners following the match.
