The accident occurred on Monday morning along the Touba-Biankouma road as the bus was travelling from Odienne to Yamoussoukro with 69 passengers and crew members on board.
Authorities say the cause of the crash is still under investigation, while rescue teams continue searching for passengers believed to be missing.
The Ministry of Transport has urged motorists to exercise extra caution and adhere to traffic regulations, particularly during the ongoing rainy season.
