According to Health Minister Samuel Roger Kamba, the number of suspected Ebola cases has climbed to 1,028, up sharply from 906 reported just a day earlier. Of these, 225 cases have been officially confirmed through laboratory testing.
The rapid rise in suspected infections has prompted Congolese health authorities to intensify surveillance, contact tracing, and emergency response measures in affected regions.
