The landmark result marked a breakthrough moment for Somali women’s football, as the young Ocean Stars bounced back from earlier defeats in the tournament to claim a memorable victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Najma Mohamed led the scoring with a hat-trick, while Sundus Mohamed added two goals. Hibo Salad, Halimo Isse, and Maryan Osoble also found the net as Somalia delivered an impressive attacking display. Sudan’s goals came through Nashwa Abbas and Fatin Fadol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
